Neuro-Emotional Technique (N.E.T.)

Neuro-Emotional Technique (N.E.T.)

Neuro-Emotional Technique (N.E.T.) is a way of finding and correcting an emotional/stress issue related to a physical problem.

Current research has discovered that emotions are physiological in nature and actually manifest throughout the body in the form of biochemicals called neuropeptides. It is human nature to have emotional responses to significant events in our lives, and our bodies usually deal normally with those responses. But sometimes the emotions become “stuck” and we develop conditioned response patterns that manifest as physical symptoms.

The effect of emotions on health is well documented in scientific literature. For over 100 years Chiropractors have attributed emotions to being one of the three leading causes of a misaligned vertebra (a vertebral subluxation). Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.) was developed in 1988 to treat vertebrae that misalign/subluxate in an acquired reflex to unresolved emotional triggers.

N.E.T. is a highly specialized technique requiring significant training.

How does N.E.T. work?

N.E.T. is a gentle process that provides relief from the effects of unresolved stress in both adults and children. These conditions may include

  • headaches
  • body pains
  • phobias
  • general anxiety
  • self-sabotaging behaviors
  • allergies and much more…

It’s important to note that N.E.T. does not cure or heal the patient, but rather, N.E.T. removes blocks to the natural healing power of the body, allowing the body to repair itself naturally.

N.E.T. is an interactive process that requires the Patient’s participation. The Chiropractor is merely the facilitator. The N.E.T. process establishes the stuck (unresolved) emotion relating to an original event or experience, by determining weakness in the Patient’s meridian system and the body’s response to particular words. To release the unresolved emotion, the Chiropractor will contact, or ask the Patient to contact particular body points while the Patient pictures the original event or experience.

N.E.T. does not deal with REALITY but instead with the EMOTIONAL REALITY. Any conceivable life experience may be the subject of an unresolved emotion. Such experiences may include but are not limited to:

Eating Disorders

Sexual Experience

Abuse of any kind

Sexual Preferences

Personal Inadequacies

Family Dynamics

Animal Cruelty

Authority Figures

Genetics Flaws

Public Figures

Belief of past lives

The Supernatural

Control Issues

Traumatic Events

The technique locates unresolved stress patterns and assists in the completion of the body's normal mind-body process.

N.E.T. uses kinesiology style muscle testing to find out what is going on in your subconscious and then uses this information to clear the areas where you are holding on to these subconscious triggers. By clearing these blocks it can enable the resolution of symptoms and behaviors that are repeatedly triggered by the same stressor.

The Patient is in complete control during a N.E.T. treatment and can discontinue the treatment if any topic arises which the Patient does not wish to address.

Appropriate referrals to other Health Care Professionals are made where appropriate.

What are the benefits of N.E.T.?

Neuro Emotional Technique is a safe, effective, and non-invasive way to deal with all sorts of situations and concerns such as bed wetting, sports and office performance, mood, social issues, trauma, or phobias. It's a simple, comfortable way to release negative thought patterns or emotions that can lead to distressful behavior patterns, and physical symptoms.

Our approach to healing involves the whole mind and body.

Although stress can be a big component of health, it is very important to understand that there may be additional root causes, and it is necessary to address all causes related to one’s health.

The Homerun Healing approach:

  • Unresolved Negative Emotional Blocks (N.E.T.)
  • Imbalances in the Musculoskeletal System (physical correction)
  • Nutrition Deficiencies (things that should be in the body and may be less than adequate)
  • Toxins in the Body (things that are in the body and should not be there)
